Read&Write" exercises are tasks where you have to read a short text, e.g. an article, a letter or a report, and then write your own text. Read&Write tasks are excellent to improve your skills of writing certain types of texts. You can compare your own text to the given text and find special terms or phrases. You will also train your vocabulary and understanding skills. Read&Write exercises are also excellent to prepare for school exams and FCE, EFL, ESL or UOE based tests.

"Use Of English" (UOE), also called "English in Use", is a term referring to FCE (First Certificate of English), EFL (English as a Foreign Language) or ESL (English as a Second Language) based test formats. Tasks include different formats like multiple choice, open cloze, word and sentence transformation, or multiple matching. They are used to test your range of vocabulary, grammar knowledge, text comprehension and other language skills. |
