Listening Comprehension Tests (standardized formats)
There are a number of ways to test learners' understanding of spoken language. The main test formats - also used in FCE-exams and most European school leaving exams - are: "True-or-False"; "Multiple Matching"; "Multiple Choice"; and "Gapfill" exercises. Besides, some tests also include tasks to check general understanding through summary writing tasks or open question.
